Asher is now 4 months old! Which means I no longer count by weeks. The math just gets too hard. He is still the happiest baby on the planet and he has accomplished so much this month.
He took his first trip to the beach...
He flew in a plane for the first time...
And he is soooo close to rolling over from back to front. He has mastered front to back though!
When Mama is around, Ash is all smiles. But when Daddy is around, this kid is all chuckles.
I guess David is more funny looking than I am ;) Asher isn't the only one laughing around here.
He always keeps us giggling with this facial expressions.

We had Asher's 4 month check up yesterday. And besides the cough he still trying to kick from this family wide epidemic, the doctor said he is perfectly healthy. She is so pleased with his weight gain. He is still only in the 7th percentile but he has a lot of catching up to do. Those percentiles are only comparison numbers anyway. They don't really mean anything as far has the health of your child. On the other hand, he is half an inch taller than Em was at this age so I guess he is going to be long and lanky just lilke Daddy and Grandpa Ayer. He had another round of shots and took them like a champ. I'm talkin' 30 seconds of crying tops. The kid is like a Mustang. "Mustangs, they're tough." He had me quoting The Outsiders right there in the office. The doc also gave us the go ahead to start solids sometime within the next two months. Though I think we are going to wait until he is closer to 6 months old like we did with Em.
