Feed Me!

Asher ate his first meal from a spoon today and he LOVED it!  We started with baby oat cereal.  He ate the whole bowl!  And though that is only a little more than a tablespoon of mush, for a first feeding that is spectacular.  He spit a lot of it out but that was just because he kept opening his mouth for more.  I'm pretty sure he got most of it down.  I remember thinking at Emery's first meal, "Whoa what a mess! We have to do this every day?!"  This time wasn't so overwhelming.

 Even Emery got to feed him a few bites.  I think she was having the most fun.  So much that she wouldn't give the spoon back.  (I actually had to put her in time out because she gave me a flat "NO!" after I asked/told her repeatedly)  Looks like we have an extra meal time helper...whether we want it or not ;)

We then gave him a bath and a nice nap.  Lets hope future meals go this smoothly.
