Emery's First Haircut

This may sound strange being that she is 2 1/2 and has always been known for having lots of hair like Mommy and Daddy. But the truth is, I just couldn't bring myself to do it until now. Emery's hair has always been beautifully long and curly. Lately though, it was getting to be noticeably uneven on the bottom, way to close to her bottom, and sometimes stuck in her arm pits.

It is amazing that a children's haircut is cheaper than an adult's. David said it right when he made the comment that they should cost more since the kids don't sit still. It is hard enough for them to stay in the chair...but keeping their head straight? Forget it!

Ok, so it's not exactly a drastic change. We only cut off a few inches. It took me 20 years to get through a hair cut without crying so we're taking baby steps...for momma. Em was a champ. She'd go back tomorrow if we asked her to...so long as she can have another sucker ;)
