Little Brudder Might Not Be So Little

We had our official ultrasound yesterday and got a really good glimpse of our little guy. He was moving all over the place, making it really easy to see everything clearly. The doctor says everything looks great and very healthy. So healthy in fact, that she says he is going to be a BIG boy. He currently weighs 1.4 lbs and if carried to full term could be 9lbs when he is born! When she told us that, I thought to myself that I wouldn't mind too much if he came a week early like Em. 9lbs is big!

This was about the point when the Doc commented on how Emery was tall for her age as well and that I must "grow them big."

Things are looking great and I am feeling good as well. I feel a lot better knowing why I have more pains in my belly than I did with Emery. This big boy is stretching out in there! So far I have just enjoyed being pregnant, feeling him move around and kick. But now that we have seen him on the screen, I am getting a little more anxious to meet him!
