We carved our pumpkins. (from left to right: David, Lindsay,Emery) Ok so I may have helped Emery a little. She snoozed in her crib while we made a mess. No need for her to help. I can just imagine orange pumpkin stains on our new carpet.
Trick or Treating took place in two locations this year. Emery is one of 2 of children in our neighborhood so there wasn't much trick or treating in our neck of the woods. We did however make some appearances at a few houses per request after visiting the Landing. David's shopping center held a trick or treat event that was a hit. The place was packed with fairys, pirates, princesses, and my personal favorite, a toddler dressed as a penguin. Genius. He already waddles, might as well throw a penguin costume on him. Next year we might all be dressed as emperor penguins. That will take a LOT of convincing David. It was hard enough to get him to be the Tin Man. We were a hit though. Everyone loved our costumes, especially Lincoln's. haha. Someone we didn't know stopped us to take a picture.
Here's our score! I call the 3 musketeers! You gotta love the neighbors that give out full size candy bars.
Emery was so excited to see all the candy.
Here's her reaction when we told her she couldn't have any.
Just kidding, she was fast asleep for the night by the time we broke out the candy. We were all exhausted by nights end. It was a blast and I can't wait for next year. Although, I'm so excited that it is now the holiday season. Decorations, food, brisk weather, holiday music. I never get tired of White Christmas. I can't believe our little punkin bruster is almost a year old. Oh the blog posts to come! We love and miss you all! We hope you had a happy Halloween!
