Emery started gymnastics a few weeks ago and is having an absolute blast. She looks forward to every Thursday. Em has no fear of failing...or falling. She is just happy to be able to flip, jump, balance and roll the best she can.
Now while she is doing her thing, David and I run on treadmills located up on a balcony that over looks the gym floor. (Asher plays in the little kid zone) This is why the videos are so far away. I'll do my best to describe where Emery is since there are so many other classes going on at once.
Emery is wearing an all black leotard.
In this video, Emery is on the 2nd line furthest from our view. She is being followed by the coach in the red shirt. She is also the one that rolls off the floor.
In this video, she is the one on the balance beam.
If you look in the far left corner of the gym in this video you can see her flipping around the uneven bars then she runs over to the parallel bars.
Ok, this one is tough. If you look at the far back of the gym up against the blue wall, you'll see Em's coach in a red shirt showing her how to jump on a spring board. Then Emery runs and jumps (sort of) on the spring board onto the big blue mat.
I love watching her follow in my gymnastic footsteps. And I really love that I can exercise with David while we watch. I don't even turn on the tv. She is enough entertainment for me!
