We had Emery's party on Dec. 16th this year. It's either go way early or way late. We always choose early. And since my old computer was on the fritz, I am just now updating you all on all the fun.
Emery chose a Bubble Guppies theme this year. This made decorating a little tough for Mama since the bubble guppies aren't mass produced yet. Luckily, nickjr had some free print outs on their website.
We played all of our recorded episodes on loop during the party. (We have 10...and I definitely have my favorites. I think I could watch the mail and grocery store episodes everyday. The music is so good I never get tired of them.)
We tried to make the dining area seem like we were all under water. With 10 foot ceilings, that's not easy. Big thanks to David for spending so much time on the ladder.
I am coming to the realization that I am a better chef than baker. But at least it tasted good :)
We featured "Gil" (Emery's gift from us) on the table scape. This betta is our new addition to the family. Mama likes how easy he is to take care of. ;)
The "fish ponds" were cute but kind of a flop. Some kids ate them but most were left alone. It was blue jello with a sweedish fish gummy inside. Do you know what happens to gummies when they sit in jello for hours? They turn to mush. Yuck! Oh well pinterest, it was a good theory.
The goodie bags were my favorite. They were mini fish bowls with smarties for the rocks, rock candy for the plant, and a block of soap that had a very life like fish inside wrapped in a plastic bag (just like the way you buy them from the store!). Oh, and bubbles too of course!
Activities included bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles.
Kind of messy now that I think back but the kids loved it. Sorry parents!
Em and her besties.
Happy 4th Birthday Emery Grace!
It has been the best four years of our lives watching you turn into the smart/beautiful/funny little girl that touches our hearts everyday. We are truly blessed to have you in our lives. We love you Punkin Pooks!

You did an awesome job on decorations! You're creating some amazing memories for her to remember when she's older.
