So last week was Thanksgiving week. Emery was out of school and home with Asher and me. The kids can really drive me nuts when they get bored so I tried to plan a lot to do to keep us all busy and napping well. ;)
On Sunday/Monday, we took a tour of Missouri with Daddy and found this great indoor playground.
Asher LOVED the fire truck. So much that I'm thinking of contacting the local fire station for his birthday next year.
On Tuesday, we met up with Em's neighborhood buddy Nicklaus and his mom and went swimming. Indoors of course. It was a great to see that Emery had not lost any of the skills she learned this summer.
Ash tried out the floaties for the first time. He's not comfortable with them by himself yet but I'm confident that this summer, he will be attacking the water trying to keep up with big sis.
Wednesday, as you all saw was our visit with Santa. Emery is still talking about it. In fact, she felt bad that she forgot to tell Santa what Mommy and Daddy wanted for Christmas. I told her it was ok because Santa already knows that Mommy needs a new computer.
We hit the playground as well since it was such a nice day.
On Thursday, Daddy was home with us again. We spent the morning at the race...
and the afternoon stuffing our face.
On Friday, Em and I spent Asher's morning nap decorating for Christmas. She thought stockings were meant to be worn. But I told her that if they spent too much time on her feet, Santa wouldn't be able to put goodies inside them. So she was all for hanging them on the fireplace.
By Friday night, I felt like this.
We had such a good week and the kids behaved themselves amazingly but boy was I worn out.

hahah! Love that Emery thinks stockings are shoes! She's always had an awesome imagination when it comes to dressing herself :) Miss you all terribly!
