I did however, get the results back from that glucose test and they ended up being high enough to where my doctor wanted me to do the test again only I had to wait 3 hours this time after drinking the juice and get my blood drawn every hour. I was not excited to go through that again. But everything went fine. David sat with me the full 3 hours, took me to lunch afterward, and drove me home to prevent any fainting spells. The test results came back normal and thank the Lord because I don't think I could handle any more fasting.
I had a normal check up yesterday and everything seems to be right on track. I have gained about 20lbs and the baby's head seems to be down and in the right place so we shouldn't have to worry about him being breach. I can tell that he is going to be a handful already. He likes to tickle my hips with his hands and jab me in the ribs at the same time with his feet. Almost like he is trying to trick me with a tickle and WHAM jab to the ribs! Psych! Gotcha!
Our friends and neighbors are throwing a shower for me on Wed. which is great because my mom will be in town! I can't wait!
By the way, David and I have finally decided on a name for this little guy.
Asher Thomas Ayer
Our neighbors invited us out for a picnic dinner on their boat the other day. The sunset was beautiful and the weather was wonderful! Emery's favorite part was driving the boat and honking the horn at other oncoming boats. Even if she wasn't driving, and we saw another boat, she'd run over and say "We have to honk the horn!"
"Race you to shore!"
