Em's New Room

With the baby coming in October, we have decided to switch Emery to what is now the guest bedroom. That way our little guy can use all of the baby furniture in her current room. And since Emery has been in preschool I have had a chance to shop, decorate, and transform her new room into a pink and purple world of butterflies and flowers. Take a look!

The bed is queen and is still a little tall for her....hence the stool.

Don't worry, she hasn't fallen out of a bed since like the first week we switched her from a crib to a toddler bed. And she has slept in many adult size beds since then with no problem. She'll be fine.

I found these white letters at Michaels for like 2 bucks a piece and painted them to match the bedspread.

Emery also contributed to the art work on the walls.

Remember those days back in the spring when we could paint watercolors on the back porch? It's too hot for that now. But that was when I got the idea for the butterflies.

Emery was super excited about her new room.

In fact, we probably should have waited until after dinner for the reveal. She was a little distracted at the table tonight.

*side note: Sorry about the background noise in the second video. That was David giving the dogs a lesson in good manners. Henry is still a puppy.
