I know I made it sound like I wasn't going to post until Christmas but Emery was too funny today. I just had to share.
Funny Moment #1: We came home from shopping this afternoon and I did the usual...take Em's coat off, take my coat and scarf off, and put things away. I come back from putting the bags away and Emery had taken my scarf off the chair and put it around her neck. I don't know if I was more taken a back by how cute she was or the fact that she had seen how I was wearing it around my neck all morning and wanted to be just like mommy. You're right, its the second one. I remember dressing up in my Mother's clothes and thinking how fun it was. I never thought about how much she probably loved it. Who doesn't want their child to look up to them? As Kai-lan would say "It filled my heart with love and made me super happy!" Once again....couldn't grab the camera fast enough.
Ok so I may have helped her in this picture put the rest were all her.
Funny Moment #2: Emery loves music. She has been dancing lately and it is a hoot let me tell ya. But it is SO hard to catch on camera. One of these days I'll get her grooving for longer than 5 seconds. Here is what I have been able to get so far. Just imagine her doing it for like 2 minutes. Or just watch the video over and over and over.
