Welcome to our humble abode

I have been getting a lot of requests lately for pictures of our new home. Sorry it has taken me so long to post these pictures. I'm going to blame it on the fact that we have an 8 month old and well...nuff said. We still have a few more things that need to be done like, have knobs and pulls installed on all cabinets and drawers, have blinds installed in the bedrooms, and move a pile of bricks from the back porch to the garage. (ahem, hint hint ;) These things should be finished by next week but I just couldn't wait to post any longer! Now, I know that this blog is dedicated to Emery and is supposed to be all about her. So, I made sure that she is in every picture. Look hard, she is difficult to see in some of them. Warning- there are A LOT of pictures. Trying to find Emery in every frame may make this more enjoyable and less boring for all of us. I excluded outside pictures of the house since I posted those a while ago and that really hasn't changed. If you missed them, you can find them in a July post titled "There is a party in my closet and you are all invited!" Have fun!

Welcome! This is the foyer. (which I like to pronounce foi-ˌ(y)ā because its fancy.)

Speaking of fancy, check out my house warming gift from Mom and Kendall. Love it!

From the foyer, you can take a sharp turn to the right to see the spare bath and bedrooms. Emery's room:

Let's continue on from the front door. As you can see, the house has a very open floor plan which is a must for us. I can be in any room and see what Emery is getting herself into which is crucial now that she is crawling at a fairly fast pace.
Here's the living room:
And here is how the living room looks most of the time:

Let's pause for a moment while we have a little break down.
Ok, all better.

Let's not forget the master closet. Yes, it needed 3 photos.

Emery is fascinated with this piglet lunch pail, BTW.
Last but not least, we have the back yard. The other morning, I woke up to see a deer looking down on me from the top of this rock. Awesome.

Thank you all for taking the virtual tour of the new Ayer household. We hope that you will come in person next time. Hope to see you all soon! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
PS If you have not received our new address and would like to, please send me your email and I will send it to you.

I love your new home! It's beautiful! Emery looks like she has lots of room to play and she is getting so big!
