Hello all. I hope this lovely fall weather is treating everyone well. The leaves are changing around here and it is beautiful. I am so excited about the holidays ahead.
The baby is doing great. We have gone from once a month to once every two weeks at the doctor. She is growing so fast. "This week she is a little over 15 inches long—about the length of a loaf of bread—and weighs about 3 pounds, as much as a Macbook Air laptop." And boy can I feel that 3 lbs. It feels like a lot more than that, especially when she packs a punch from the inside. Dont get me wrong I love to feel her kick and move but she really can jab me in the ribs sometimes.
Things are staying busy around here. David ran the Baltimore Marathon recently and in his fastest time so far. He finished strong in 3hours and 46minutes and felt great. He is so amazing. He is planning on getting another under his belt before the baby is born; Richmond Marathon on Nov. 15th. My best maryland chickas are throwing me a baby shower tea/brunch on Sunday morning and I am so excited. My mom is even coming in town for the festivities. These girls are the greatest. I am sure we will have a blast. Pictures to come next update...
