Things are still going well over here. The baby is growing fast and kicking all the time. She is about a foot long ("picture an ear of corn," says the pregnancy emails) and weighs a little over 1lb. I am starting to pack on the pounds a little faster as well. I gained 5lbs in the past 4 weeks. So far I am right on track to gain 25-30lbs total which is good. I have packed away my old jeans and shorts and now wearing prego pants full time. Fortunately I have had good luck with finding some cute stuff at Old Navy that is very inexpensive.

I feel very lucky that being pregnant has been really easy for me. My only compliant is that my back is starting to hurt more these days. I have gone to hourly at work so that it is easier for me to leave if it starts to bother me. Being on my feet all day and doing a lot of bending doesn't help.

Other than that, we are still going with the flow around here. We are excited now that it is football season again. David turned 31 on Labor Day and a lot of our Annapolis friends came out to celebrate with us. This picture is of us at his birthday dinner. David also has his first triathlon on the 28th in Delaware and will be running in the Baltimore Marathon on Oct. 11th. On the 1st of October, we have what will probably be our last trip as just the two of us. I am really excited about going back to Chattanooga for my best friend Sarah's wedding. David is looking forward to seeing his friends Nate and Matt as well. All of the pregnancy books say to take as many trips as possible while it is easy to just pick up and go. So we are.
