Catching up on Colorado

Ok I know that we have been back from Colorado for like a month but blogging in the summer time is hard!  With that said, here are some of the highlights from our trip!

 

As usual, we spent our time fishing, piano playing, swimming, playing ping pong, swinging and riding the zipline. (or cable as we like to call it)  We also watched David break 5 hrs at a half Ironman in Boulder.  Which you can read about on my 365 blog by clicking here.

I'm talkin non stop fun. 

 After almost 11 years of coming up to the cabin, David finally caught his first fish.  You have to understand that this is funny because the lake is so full of trout that it is like shooting fish in a barrel.

 But the moment was bitter sweet because the fish unhooked himself and splashed back in the water.

If you ever lost Asher, you could find him here in the gator.

 Day or night.  Any chance he got, he was sitting in the seat ready for a ride.

 

 

 One thing that made this year's trip to the cabin legendary was that Emery took her first trip across the cable!

 

No fear!  She went three more times after that!  I was a little nervous the first time so lord help me if she wants to drop in the lake next year.
