We transformed Emery's crib into a toddler bed today.
We decided it was time.
She has never tried to climb out, but we do travel a lot. And it would be nice if she could sleep in a regular bed. Plus, she is two now.
Em seemed excited about her big girl bed.
Though she is all smiles in the pictures, she did put up a fight at nap time. She came out of the room about 6 times and shed a few tears before she actually fell asleep. But it is common for her fight nap time a little.
What will be interesting is bedtime tonight. She always goes down better at night. But I'm picturing something like Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory at 3am. (tap tap tap) "Mama" (tap tap tap) "Daddy" (tap tap tap) "Mama" (tap tap tap) "Daddy"

Love the big girl bed! Im sure it will go far better than expected! Hey..never hurts to dream :)
She is growing up so fast! I hope she sleeps great tonight so that you can of course.
The night went great! She didn't get out of bed once!
