Em wanted to be a fairy this time. She thought she needed extra accessories. And though I loved the creativity, I didn't think anyone else would understand. So we ditched the oven mitts.
We started the night with an appearance at the Landing's halloween event.
Em was more interested in the leaves than the candy.
Until she saw this spider.
And then it moved.
Which made her even more interested.
Until it ate her legs. haha just kidding.
Then we headed back to our neighborhood for some door to door trick or treat action.
Em wasn't shy about helping herself.
We had a great time. Emery was just old enough to get it, especially towards the end of the night. She would say, "treat treat" and "day too" (thank you). Thanks to all in our neighborhood who bought tons of candy, crackers, and snacks even though there were only about 3 kids. It really was a lot of fun.
